CODE OF CONDUCT

COMPETITORS - Please be advised of the following rules and regulations that govern the play and conduct of players at ALL OGA sanctioned Junior Tournaments.

Junior Golf Dress Code Policy

The OGA has developed the following standard dress code. Juniors who appear at an event and fail to comply with this code will not be permitted to play!

Oregon Junior Amateur Pace of Play Policy

The Oregon Junior Amateur will be run with the following pace guidelines in effect. You are encouraged to read through these guidelines before you arrive at a competition.

The Rules are Different in Stroke and Match Play

Certain specific Rules governing stroke play are so substantially different from those governing match play that combining the two forms of play is not practicable and is not permitted.

Major Upsets Abundant in Junior Division at 81st Oregon Junior Amateur

With all divisions now in match play at the 81st Oregon Junior Amateur at Reames Golf & Country Club in Klamath Falls, the fields begin to narrow and one defending champion was sent home early.

Course Setup - 81st Oregon Junior Amateur

Reames Golf & Country Club will play to a par of 72. Juniors and Boys will play at 6,536-yards a USGA Course/Slope Rating of 70.7/116; I-Boys will play at 6,018 yard with a USGA Course/Slope Rating of 68.3/113; Girls and I-Girls are at 5,521-yards with a USGA Course/Slope Rating of 70.2/126. All spectators at the Bob Norquist Oregon Junior Amateur Championship must abide by the Oregon Junior Golf spectator and cell phone requirements.
