This information supplements the Local Rules and Conditions of Competition for OGA Championships and Events.

Conditions of the Competition - Oregon Amateur

All participants in the Oregon Amateur Championship play in accordance with the stipulated Conditions of the Competition.

Oregon Amateur Pace of Play Guidelines

The Oregon Amateur will be run with the following pace guidelines in effect. You are encouraged to read through these guidelines before you arrive at a competition.

Distance Measuring Devices at the Oregon Amateur

All players who intend to use an artificial device to measure distance during the Oregon Amateur or any of its qualifiers should first confirm they are using a conforming device.

Willamette Valley Evacuation Plan

A plan for handling the suspension of play due to inclement and dangerous weather conditions has been developed for the golf course.

101st Oregon Amateur Course Setup

Willamette Valley Country Club will play to a par of 72. It will be 7,146-yards for men with a USGA Course/Slope Rating of 73.7/131 and 5,992-yards for women with a USGA Course/Slope Rating of 75.0/135 including Daily Hole Locactions.

Waiting List - Men’s Division

A waiting list consisting of all players who participated in qualifiers but are not presently entered into the championship includes the following players (in order).

101st Oregon Amateur - Exempt Players

All past Oregon Amateur Champions, 2009 Oregon Junior Amateur Champions (Blake Jones and Sharon Shin), and the Top 50 golfers from the 2009 Men’s Performance Points list are guaranteed entry into the Championship. All exempt players must meet eligibility requirements and must file an entry by the deadline.
