Waverley Country Club is a very special place that embraces a proud history and respected traditions which is displayed throughout the clubhouse. In fact, the Oregon Amateur started when 11 men and 13 ladies competed at Waverley in 1904, the only course in Portland at the time. Waverley hosted the event every year until it moved to Gearhart Golf Links on the northern Oregon Coast in 1917. In 1924, Waverley was joined by Tualatin Country Club and Portland Golf Club in forming the Oregon Golf Association.
Meet Waverley's Chief Operating Officer Scott Julien (CCM), Head PGA Professional John Wells, and OGCSA Superintendent Brian Koffler.
