Welcome Oregon Amateur Contestants
On behalf of everyone associated with Willamette Valley Country Club, we want to extend a warm welcome to Oregon’s beautiful Willamette Valley and the 101st Oregon Amateur Championship.
Willamette Valley Country Club takes great pride in our lasting relationship with the Oregon Golf Association and the partnership we’ve maintained since our first hosting of the 82nd Oregon Amateur in 1971. WVCC has proudly partnered with the OGA in hosting 16 of the OGA’s most prestigious Amateur tournaments including US Open Qualifiers, Junior Amateurs, Senior Amateurs, and of course this, our third hosting of the Oregon Amateur Championship.
Congratulations to each of the 156 Contestants which we recognize as the best amateur golfers in Oregon for this year, 2010. We gratefully acknowledge the efforts and commitment of our staff, volunteers and everyone at the OGA for their efforts to help ensure the success of this championship. It is our humble honor to play a small role in nurturing the continuing growth of this great game of golf and the development which begins with prestigious amateur competitions such as the Amateur Championship.
