2012 Super Senior Recap

The 7th Annual Oregon Super Senior Championship contested May 9th-10th at Langdon Farms Golf Course in Aurora, Oregon resulted in some great competition with a playoff for the women and mere one-stroke victory in the men's division.

OREGON GOLF ASSOCIATION CAPTURES 3rd STRAIGHT PNGA CUP

Victoria, B.C. - After the final individual match play competition at the 7^th annual Pacific Northwest Golf Association (PNGA) Cup, Oregon Golf Association (OGA) captured its third title in a row and its fifth overall.

Coming into the day, Oregon was comforted with a 2.5-point lead from its stellar play on day one. Close on their heels was British Columbia Golf, followed by Idaho Golf Association (3.5 points back) and the Washington State Golf Association (4 points back).

Oregon’s Ben Crane To Play In Umpqua Bank Challenge

The Umpqua Bank Challenge today announced that PGA TOURprofessionals Ben Crane, Steve Elkington and Scott McCarron have been confirmed for the 2012 field.

OGA Hires New Director of Marketing & Communications

Oregon Golf Association CEO Barb Trammell recently announced that Aaron Breniman has joined the association staff as its new Director of Marketing & Communications.

EUGENE COUNTRY CLUB RECOGNIZED # 67 IN THE COUNTRY BY GOLFWEEK MAGAZINE

The Eugene Country Club recently moved up the list of Golfweek Magazine’s Top 100 Best Modern Courses in America. ECC was featured as the 67^th course, moving up three positions from 70^th in 2011.

“We are always pleased when the raters at Golfweek recognize what members at Eugene Country Club see every round…a world-class golf experience,” noted ECC General Manager Rich Spurlin. “Given the incredible quality of new courses being built these days it is a testament to our golf course management team to see us move up in the rankings.”
