11/01/11 - 2012-2015 Rules of Golf - Summary of ChangesLast week the USGA and R&A released the revisions to the Rules of Golf that will come into effect on January 1, 2012 as part of their normal four year cycle. In general, these revisions continue the precedent set in 2008 (the last revision) where the Rules are becoming more player friendly and move to uniformity on all parts of the course. Like many, he misinterpreted the rule as there was no penalty.
