US Amateur - Day 2 - Short Version

My day at Chambers Bay was fantastic and my assignement had me working right along the coastline of the Puget Sound for most of day. 

Multiple rulings including denying a few player's relief requests, a race to finish the second round before darkness fell and a player who almost received a two-stroke penalty for picking up his cigar!

Sorry to dissapoint but that's all I have time for ... hopefully I'll be able to fill in the details tomorrow.  I'm off to be to be up in about 4 hours to help set-up the first round of match play before refereeing the 11:50am match between Scott Harvey of Greensboro, N.C. and Tyler Sheppard of Midland, Texas.  Harvey recently finished 2nd in the Carolinas Amateur and Sheppard is a Junior on the Abilene Christian University golf team.  Good luck to them both tomorrow!
